Traditionally, in the Pyrenean villages bruises and muscle pain were relieved by applying arnica tincture. No popular pharmacy lacked this well-known remedy as it has always been considered the best natural anti-inflammatory.
Arnica’s shining yellow flowers, that once abounded the Pyrenean meadows, are today in danger of extinction. Taüll Orgànics, concerned about its shortage and encouraged by its multiple therapeutic properties, started to grow them in Taüll –Boí Valley- obtaining what is now the first certified organic arnica crop in Spain.
Nowadays, we take advantage of its anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antibacterial properties to soothe the muscle pain and strain, to treat bumps and bruises, and to relieve the rheumatic and articular pain, as well as some skin problems.
